Goal: Score points by building valid English words (4–10 letters) from your hand before the timer runs out.
Hand & Word Slots: Click letters in your hand to move them into the word row. Click a letter in the word row to return it to your hand. Press Play Word to submit.
Scoring: Each word scores lengthN points, where N is the current Phase (1–6). Unplayed letters move to right leaving [wordlength] empty spaces, which are filled according to the phase pattern (C's, V's and ?'s below the rack -- # of C's increases each phase).
Phases: The game starts at Phase 1. Each phase N fills empty hand slots with N consonants, then 8-N vowels, then 2 wildcards (?). You advance to Phase N+1 when your score reaches 10N.
Wildcards (?): A ? can be any letter. Use Exchange 2 for ? to trade 2 hand letters for a wildcard. (BUTTON, choose letters, BUTTON)
Exchange 3 for 3: Swap 3 hand letters for 3 random ones. (BUTTON, choose letters, BUTTON) Can do this up to 3 times per phase (refills at end of phase).
Cycling Bag: When end of deck is reached, the deck refills (other than rack cards) and a wildcard (?) is added to rack.
Strikes: Playing an invalid word or letting the timer expire earns a strike. Three strikes ends the game.
